12.18.09 -No Practice

Lauren and I had to stop by Leon HS to drop off our COMPLETED coaching courses so we can get our permanent (aka 5 year) coaching certificate/license/whatever. I won't go on too long about this, but lets just say we jumped through a few hoops to do this, then were told to climb over a few walls, then we had to crawl through the mud a bit then fight off an angry lion. When we got to Leon, happily thinking we were done, we found out we have SIX more steps we have to go through, some that involve writing multiple paged papers about drug use, FHSAA rules, and other really exciting things. Not happy.

When we got to Leon, this is what the fields looked liked. Eight inches of rain that week led to this, and we realized practice would not be happening that evening. Great, more time to jump through burning hoops while juggling silver plates.
